UK Forestry and Natural Resources studies newest invader in Kentucky forests

Laurel wilt, which kills sassafras trees and spicebush shrubs in Kentucky, is caused by a nn invasive fungal pathogen. The disease has recently been discovered in Christian, Todd and Logan counties.
